Day 3: Favorite heroine.
Okay so I used Mulan for the second day AKA favorite princess and I get away with it because even though she’s not a princess she is part of the franchise. I am a straight man and I know that. That’s the joke, I have no punchline.
Thus, for favorite heroine I have to use someone outside the franchise.
So, for favorite heroine, I say….
Megara.
Why?
Because out of all, she is the one with the most personality.
SHE HAS ATTITUDE. HOW MANY DISNEY FEMALE LEADS YOU KNOW HAVE ATTITUDE?
Fine, maybe Jasmine, Tiana and a few others, but none of them has the sass of Megara.
“But she worked for Hades!”
Sure, she worked for Hades. But that was because she sold her soul to save her love. And in the end she sacrifices her own life for that of Hercules. And she is happy to see him join the gods in Olympus, even with the knowledge that she will not see them again.
Maybe this isn’t a very inspired post, but I think that pretty much covers why I love Megara.
Also, she’s really hot.
